How Cat Zyon's QR-code support model is intended to work

Cat Zyon proposes connecting public artworks to local animal-protection organisations through a QR code. The idea is simple: attention generated by the art can direct visitors to a verified way of supporting work in that city.

What the model intends to do

At an activated sculpture or exhibition, a visitor would scan a code and reach information about the local beneficiary and the available participation route. The organisation, purpose and destination should be stated clearly before any contribution is made.

This website does not claim that a universal payment platform is already operating, nor does it publish transfer totals without evidence. The QR model is a declared project mechanism whose implementation depends on each activation, its responsible partner and appropriate technical and financial arrangements.

Trust requires more than a code

A QR code is only an access point. Credibility comes from verifying the beneficiary, explaining responsibilities, protecting user data and maintaining records. Visitors should be able to distinguish the Cat Zyon project from the independent organisation receiving support.

Local relevance is also essential. An installation should not choose a distant beneficiary merely for convenience if a suitable, accountable organisation is working in the host community. In Uberaba, SUPRA is the first confirmed beneficiary partner.

What comes next

Before a new activation, Cat Zyon must confirm the site, partner and support journey. Any future reporting should describe real results with dates and sources, rather than projecting intentions as outcomes.

This approach may feel slower than a broad promise, but it protects the people and organisations involved. Learn about SUPRA, review the wider project model, or contact the team through Get involved if you represent a city or animal-protection organisation.
